Identify the purchasing unit
Browse security appliances by manufacturer and exact identifier. This directory separates technical identity from commercial stock. Filter the evidence depth, compare recorded fields and carry a shortlist into your quotation draft.
Identify the exact appliance and hardware revision. Redundant units must have explicit quantities and matching scope.
List security services, license term, support level and customer-account requirements separately from the hardware.
Resolve dependencies before requesting a price
Do not turn a previous owner subscription or another retailer advertisement into a new entitlement promise.
Agree configuration reset, registration and ownership handover before procurement.
Evidence at acceptance
Request appliance labels and a written entitlement statement. Photography cannot establish a transferable license.
Request: Front ports, Rear power, Model label, Included rack kit, Entitlement evidence supplied separately. Attach these to the actual quotation or receiving record. A product-family image or an AI warehouse scene cannot replace evidence of the offered unit.
Create a useful handover record
Use the comparison table to inspect only fields supplied for each record. A blank cell means that information is not recorded; it does not mean a feature is unsupported. Resolve material differences with the supplier before approving a replacement.
Export the full identifiers and quantities to a quotation draft. Include target platform, condition, destination, accessories, test evidence and the party responsible for final technical approval. This planning tool does not issue a price, allocate stock or create license entitlement.
At receipt, match the item labels and accessories to the accepted list. Record discrepancies before integration. Keep the source revision and final bill of materials together so future maintenance is checked against the configuration actually delivered.
